Gifts to Foundation Accounts
All gifts deposited in the PSU Foundation are automatically receipted, acknowledged and tracked. Donors making gifts of $5,000 and up also receive an individually written acknowledgement letter signed by the President of the University.

Gifts to University Accounts
The University does not maintain an automatic process for receipting, acknowledging or tracking contributions deposited in University gift accounts. Donor acknowledgement is the responsibility of the department or program receiving the gift. The Foundation will neither receipt nor acknowledge gifts deposited in University gift accounts. If information about the gift is submitted to the Foundation on a Report of Gift or Grant form, it will be entered into the fundraising database for informational purposes only. University staff can then access a complete donor giving record that includes gifts made to both the University and the Foundation.
